At the Y, we believe we have something special — a sense of community — and that everyone should have access to it, along with the programs and services that help us learn, grow and thrive. 

Financial assistance is offered to individuals and families who cannot afford membership and/or programs. Please contact us with any questions.

If you are ready to join, visit one of our two locations in Waco and sign up today. 

Your membership is good at any YMCA of Central Texas location and you will also gain limited access to any YMCA in the country.

Get Started

1. Download the financial assistance application.
2. Complete the form, and include the required documentation listed on the application.
3. Return the application and the required documentation to your nearest YMCA of Central Texas location.
4. Applications are processed weekly.

What Happens Next

Once your application is processed, the Y will contact you to verify that your application has been approved. You also will receive an award contract.

Maintaining Your Financial Assistance Status

Financial assistance is awarded for a 12-month period. Your account must remain in good financial standing. If not, financial assistance will be terminated.

Financial Assistance Is Temporary

Qualification for financial assistance is reviewed
every 12 months.

Financial Assistance for Programs

We also offer financial assistance for Afterschool Care, Day Camp, Youth Sports, Swim Lessons and other programs and services.
